Overseas Immersion Programme
The Overseas Immersion Programme aims to provide selected Primary 5 students with authentic learning experiences beyond the classroom. Through partnerships with our international counterparts, our cultural exchange programmes enable students to develop global perspectives and appreciate cultural diversity while strengthening their identity as global citizens. It is through these cross-cultural interactions that we hope to foster mutual respect and understanding in our students, enhancing their confidence and cross-cultural communication skills.
In one such exchange, students from Northoaks Primary School and Nanyang Primary School travelled to Xiamen, China, for an enriching experience at Xiamen Experimental School. They attended lessons alongside local students, immersed themselves in traditional Chinese art forms, and gained valuable insights into China's education system and way of life.
Closer to home, our partnership with Borneo International School in Sarawak enables students to experience the rich cultural heritage of East Malaysia. This collaboration provides opportunities for meaningful exchanges and lasting connections with their Malaysian peers.
